We are expecting very different conditions in all of Austria. Today at 12UTC in all of austria thunderstorms are possible, but in the eastern half except Kärnten, thunderstorms are likely. The main danger in these thunderstorms is rain. at 18UTC the N, E and S border of the E part of Austria should be expecting thunderstorms, since then these are still likely. The rest of Austria may also have thunderstorms. The main danger in the E and S is the intense rain, mainly in the N hail and stormgusts. Over night the thunderstorms decrease, although there might still be some in NW and NE austria. Especially in NE Styria there are going to be extreme rainshowers, making flash flooding and mud avalanches likely. At 12UTC on thursday, N austria might already have some thunderstorms with stronger rain, while the NW styria might also have some weak thunderstorms. Towards 18UTC these thunderstorms are going to strech along the S border of Austria, some in the N. Especially in S Tyrol these thunderstorms might bring flash floods. At 12UTC on Friday thunderstorms are to be expected in NE Styria. At 18UUTC there will be scattered thunderstorms along the S and N border of Austria, as well as thunderstorm in NE Styria.The main danger will stay large ammounts of rain. Over night and into the morning hours of Saturday extreme rainshowers are going to pour down on S Tyrol, surely causing floods, and mudslides. This weather is going to continue into the morning hours.
