Yesterday, on the 9.4.2012 a tornado formed in Turkey. At 18:30 local time a severe thunderstorm had formed in the area Elazig, which caused the tornado. Elazig is in eastern Turkey, where the temperatures reached very high values at that time; up to 30°C. In neibouring countrys the temperatures even reached 35°C! The tornado first struck a road construction-site. There trucks, containers and cars got thrown around over the ground. A couple of smaller, not very stable houses got destroyed there, too. In this tornado 6 people died and further 7 got injured badly.
